We inspire and motivate African Performing artists to utilise the vast opportunities available to them and promote Australia as a multicultural Society.
Celebration of African Australians Inc is registered as a Not for Profit charitable organisation for the advancement of culture with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). We are also registered on the Register of Cultural Organisation (ROCO) — Organisations and Funds with the Office for the Arts and the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as a Deductible Gift Recipient Organisation (DGR).The Association operates the African Cultural Centre Gift Fund
Our main Objectives are to inspire and motivate African Performing artist to utilise the vast opportunities available to them and promote Australia as a multicultural society where all ethnic groups have a ‘fair go’ for opportunities and positions. Therefore, it is to celebrate the Performing Arts, Culture and Traditions of Africa to the Wider Australian Community. We appreciate, honour, recognize the achievements, Successes and showcase the contributions of African performing arts to our collective growth and prosperity.
Through the promotion of African Performing arts, we can create a sense of belonging, reduce social isolation, foster inter generational learning and support capacity-development and civic participation among African Australians
